About the Fashion Industry Association
The Fashion Industry Association is an organization devoted to helping fashion industry professionals to network and work together towards success. Our visions is to see independent fashion designers, retailers, manufacturers, models, stylists,
photographers, hair and makeup artists, and media building their local markets and creating a culture of cooperative business. We believe that cultivating independent talent is in the best interest of consumers and the industry as a whole.
The FIA uses a combination of gatherings and online technology to facilitate connections within the fashion industry. The gatherings are started and run by FIA members and hosted at locations all over the world.

Privacy Policy
Your privacy is critically important to us. At the Fashion Industry Association (FIA) we have a few fundamental principles:
We don't ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. (We can't stand services that ask you for things like your gender or income level for no apparent reason.)
We don't share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
We don't store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of one of our services.
Below is our privacy policy which incorporates these goals:
It is FIA's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.
Website Visitors
Like most website operators, FIA collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and
time of each visitor request. FIA's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how FIA's visitors use its website. From time to time, FIA may release non-personally-identifying information
in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website. FIA also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. FIA does not use such information to identify
its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to FIA's websites choose to interact with FIA in ways that require FIA to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that FIA gathers depends on the nature of the interaction.
For example, we ask visitors who sign up for a profile at FIA's website to provide a username and email address. Those who engage in transactions with FIA – by becoming a dues-paying member, for example – are asked to
provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, FIA collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to
fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with FIA. FIA does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information,
with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
It is important to note that FIA websites are integrated with the RunwayMatrix technology platform,
developed and maintained by Gomez Innovations Inc. By providing your personal information through our online systems, you are granting Gomez Innovations Inc reasonable access to your personally-identifying information for the
purpose of providing the content management and web-based applications services on all FIA websites.
Aggregated Statistics
FIA may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, FIA may monitor the most popular blogs on the FIA site or use spam screening technology. FIA may display this information publicly or
provide it to others. However, FIA does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
FIA discloses potentially personally-
identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on FIA's behalf or to provide services
available at FIA's websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using FIA's websites, you
consent to the transfer of such information to them. FIA will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated
organizations, as described above, FIA discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when FIA believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably
necessary to protect the property or rights of FIA, third parties or the public at large. If you are a registered user of an FIA website and have supplied your email address, FIA may occasionally send you an email to tell
you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what's going on with FIA and our products. We primarily use our various product blogs to communicate this type of information, so we expect to
keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your
request or to help us support other users. FIA takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying
information.
Cookies
A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer, and that the visitor's browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. FIA uses cookies to help FIA identify and track visitors, their
usage of FIA website, and their website access preferences. FIA visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using FIA's websites, with the drawback that certain
features of FIA's websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
Ads
Ads appearing on any of our websites may be delivered to users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile
information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy covers the use
of cookies by FIA and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.
Privacy Policy Changes
Although most changes are likely to be minor, FIA may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in FIA's sole
discretion. FIA encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. If you have an FIA account, you should also check your account dashboard for alerts to these changes. Your continued use of this
site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.

Please read the Terms of Use carefully. The Terms of Use include our policy for acceptable use of the FIA Services and content, as well as your rights, obligations and restrictions regarding your use of the FIA Services.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to access the FIA Services for your own personal use, subject to the Terms of Use. Use of the FIA Services beyond the scope of authorized access granted to you terminates
this permission.
By accessing the FIA Services, you accept, without limitation or qualification, the following Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, found here, and our existing FIA Rules (the "Rules"), found here, which are
incorporated by this reference. You are only authorized to use the FIA Services if you agree to abide by the Terms of Use and all applicable laws. If you do NOT accept the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and the Rules, then please
discontinue your use of the Site and the FIA Services.
We may modify the Terms of Use from time to time and each modification will be effective upon posting on the Site, which serves as notice to you. The Terms of Use
constitute the entire agreement regarding your use of the Site or the FIA Services and supersede any such prior Terms of Use. We will attempt to notify all members of changes to these Terms of Use but are not obligated to do so, as
it is important that you review the Terms of Use regularly to ensure you are updated as to any changes made. When changes are made, we will indicate at the bottom of this page the date that revisions were made.
Content on the Site
You understand that all information, data, text, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages, software, tags, advertisements or other materials ("Content"), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted,
are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated. This means that you, and not FIA, are entirely responsible for all Content that you upload, post, transmit or otherwise make available through the FIA
Services. We do not control the Content posted through the FIA Services and, as such, we do not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such Content and disclaim any and all liability in connection with such Content.
The opinions expressed in postings or other Content provided through the FIA Services are not necessarily those of FIA or its owner, content providers, advertisers, sponsors, affiliated or related entities. You understand that by
using the FIA Services you may be exposed to Content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable. You understand that we are not obligated to pre-screen, regularly review, monitor, delete or otherwise change the Content associated
with the FIA Services. We do, however, reserve the right to do so at any time in our sole discretion, for any reason or no reason, and to delete any Content with or without notice. Under no circumstances will we be liable in any way
for any Content, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any Content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content posted, emailed, transmitted or otherwise made available through the
FIA Services.
Responsibility for Your Content (Member Content)
You are solely responsible for the Content you submit or make available for inclusion through the FIA Services ("Member Content") and the consequences of posting or publishing it. In connection with Member Content, you represent
and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and authorize FIA to use all trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights in and to any and all Member Content to enable inclusion and
use of the Member Content in the manner intended by the FIA Services and the Terms of Use; you agree that you will not submit Member Content that violates these Terms of Use.
Because FIA does not permit infringement of intellectual
property rights through the FIA Services, we will remove all Member Content if properly notified that such Site Content or Member Content infringes on another's intellectual property rights and at our sole discretion.
FIA does not endorse any Member Content or any opinion, recommendation, or advice expressed therein, and we expressly disclaim any and all liability in connection with Member Content. You agree that you will not submit Member Content
that violates the Rules, found here, or material contrary to applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
Member Content: Ownership & Licenses
We do not claim ownership rights over your Member
Content. However, you grant us the following worldwide, royalty-free and non-exclusive license to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, publicly perform and publicly display Member Content through the FIA Services, solely for the
purpose for which such Member Content was submitted or made available. This limited license exists only for so long as you elect to include Member Content through the FIA Services and it will terminate at the time you remove or we remove
such Member Content from the FIA Services. You grant each user of the FIA Services a non-exclusive license to access your Member Content through the FIA Services, and to use, reproduce, distribute, display and perform such Member
Content as permitted through the functionality of the FIA Services and under these Terms of Use.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, you understand and agree that once Member Content is incorporated into other aspects of the FIA Services by FIA and/or its members, FIA is under no obligation to delete or ask or require other FIA members
to delete that Member Content, and therefore, it may continue to appear and be used through the FIA Services indefinitely pursuant to an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license. You understand and agree that we may retain, but will
not display, distribute, or perform, server copies of Member Content that have been removed or deleted.
Permitted Use of Content
The content associated with the FIA Services, including without limitation, the text, software, scripts, graphics, photographs, sounds, music, videos, visual interface, design, computer code, interactive features and the like
("Site Content") and the trademarks, service marks, trade names and logos contained therein, except all Member Content, are owned by or licensed to FIA, subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights under the law. Except
as expressly and unambiguously provided herein, FIA does not grant you any express or implied rights, and all rights in and to the FIA Services and the Site Content are retained by FIA.
You may access Member Content for your
information and personal, non-commercial use solely as intended through the provided functionality of the FIA Services. Member Content and Site Content are provided to you "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" for your information and personal,
non-commercial use only, to be used solely as intended through the provided functionality of the FIA Services and may not be downloaded, copied, reproduced, distributed, transmitted, broadcast, displayed, sold, licensed, or otherwise
exploited for any other purposes whatsoever without the prior written consent of the respective owners, and it may not be used as prohibited under the Terms of Use.
Copyright Infringement Policy
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and other applicable laws, we have adopted a policy of disabling or terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, the account of any FIA
member who infringes the intellectual property rights of you, us, or any third party. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or your intellectual property rights have been
otherwise violated, please notify us by following our DMCA notification procedure, found here.

Membership Fees / Refund Policy
FIA members may have profiles either at a "basic" level (free) or may sign up for a paid membership. FIA charges membership fees for each paid membership account. Paid membership account fees are automatically renewed
according to the member's selected renewal options, unless deactivated by the subscribing member. FIA will automatically charge the membership fee to your designated payment method and you authorize us to charge such payment
method for the appropriate membership fees and amounts stated. FIA reserves the right to increase membership fees or to institute new fees at any time upon reasonable notice (a minimum of 30 days) posted in advance on the Site.
The act of paying fees does not exclude you from the Terms of Use or the Rules, which must be adhered to by all members.
Membership fees are charged up-front. FIA does not provide refunds or credits for any
membership fees. Downgrades to a less expensive membership or cancellation of any membership or termination of any membership will not result in any refund or credit of fees already paid. The cancellation or downgrade of a
membership will go into effect at the end of the then-current billing cycle. We may offer other paid services or features associated with the FIA Services, subject to specified terms and conditions, which are incorporated by
this reference.

we will not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such website

even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the disclaimer, exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the foregoing disclaimer, exclusion and limitation may not apply to you, and you may have other legal rights that
vary according to jurisdiction. In no event will damages provided by law, if any, apply unless they are required to apply by law, notwithstanding their exclusion by contract.
We disclaim all liability for any loss or damage

solely between you and them, although we reserve the right to monitor disputes between you and them.
Our maximum aggregate liability to you for any causes whatsoever, and regardless of the form of action, shall at all times be limited to the greater of (A) the amount paid, if any, by you to us in connection with the FIA Services in the 12
months prior to the action giving rise to the liability, or (B) US$100.00. You and FIA agree that any cause of action arising out of or related to the FIA Services must commence within one (1) year after the cause of action
accrues, otherwise, such cause of action is permanently barred.
If you promote a contest, sweepstakes or giveaway on FIA without our express, advanced approval, you do so at your risk and you assume all risk and liability; you further agree to hold FIA harmless from any claim, demand or damages.

and all objections to jurisdiction and to venue. The FIA Services are controlled and offered by FIA in the United States and we make no representation that materials associated with the FIA Services are appropriate or available for
use in other locations, and accessing them from jurisdictions where the content is illegal is prohibited. Those who choose to use or access the FIA Services from other jurisdictions do so at their own initiative and are responsible
for compliance with local laws.
You affirm that you are either more than 18 years of age, or an emancipated minor, or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to enter into these terms,
conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in the Terms of Use, and to abide by and comply with the Terms of Use. In any case, you affirm that you are over the age of 16, as the FIA Services
are not intended for persons under 16. If you are under 16 years of age, then please do not use the FIA Services.
Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of Use will not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of the Terms of Use is unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision is deemed
severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
